  6. This is the WarpUP port of the 3D game Heretic.
  7. Heretic is a doom-style-game basing on the
  8. Doom-Engine done by Ravensoft who just recently
  9. released the source. This is version 1.2.
  10.  
  11. This is the second release, there will be new
  12. releases with more features later.
  13.  
  14. New in 1.4:

  16. - 1.3 still had crash bugs (which where not existing
  17.   in 1.1, BTW). I fixed this. Thanks to tomevens@sn.no
  18.   and all others who helped finding the bug !!! With
  19.   this release the debugging version of WarpHeretic
  20.   hopefully is obsolete :)
  21. - Experimental sound-support, can be turned off by
  22.   -nosfx.

  26. - 1.2 had some crashbugs. Fixed this. (Bug in PPC ASM
  27.   Optimization was this)
  28. - Compiled with latest StormC Version, gave a speedup,
  29.   now it runs 2 fps faster

  34. - If problems with IPX appear for systems where PPC
  35.   has the lower Ethernet Number, use -reverseipx now.
  36.   (like in ZhaDoom and ADoomPPC).

  50. version and a Hexen port. And more PPC ASM Optimization.

  53. This game underlies the original copyright by Ravensoft.
  54. The executable can be freely copied, but the datafile
  55. from Ravensoft is NOT to be freely copied, you need
  56. to buy it or get the Shareware version from ftp.cdrom.com.
